Topic: After Market Air ConditioningPosted: 23 Jun 2010 at 10:58pm |

I've just bought a 1.0 Chevrolet Matiz SE. I wanted the car fitted with factory fitted air conditioning but as production had just finished this wasn't possible so I'm considering fitting after market a/c. Has anyone any experience of fitting a/c to a Matiz? Is this a feasible thing to do and what is the likely cost? My main concern is that there are a number of standard products available but I wonder if these might take too much power for a one litre engine. Any advice would be welcome.

Hi, I dont think that there will be an issue with the power as the Matiz was offered with Air conditioning as a factory option however the cost of retrofitting it will probably be prohibitive. May be easier/more cost effective to upgrade to a factory supplier aircon Matiz?
