From the maintanence manual;
Center Molding (Hatchback, S/Wagon) Removal Procedure
When it say pry off, my captiva had a couple of silver inserts either side of the radio- these needed to be pryed out- very carefully with plastic trim tools- I got mine from ebay. The panel is probably held in with little metal clips. Behind the panel, the rtadio is held in with 4 10mm bolts. Best of luck Iain
