Hi all, obviously new to this forum but on a few others. A couple of rather boring questions as I am seriously looking to buy a Lacetti in the next few weeks. Are there any serious problem areas to check out before buying one. I will be looking to buy a fairly low mileage 2008 one. Not sure if it will be a hatchback or estate but will have to be an auto and I intend to use it everyday. What mpg can be expected as I don't always believe in some of these 'Autotrader' estimates. Years ago when Daewoo's first appeared I had a fairly new 1.8 Espero which was not very good on petrol so I converted it to run on LPG. Two of my daughters ran Nexias at the same time. My other car interests are hotrods, yanks, kustoms and classics. I have just rebuilt a Jago Jeep / WW2 Willys MB Jeep lookalike and current daily is a Rover 45 1.8 auto.
