Hi me and my uncle have a 1951 Chevy thrift master has been stored for 8 yrs now we wont to get a log book or register it any one know how to go about it ? im based in essex uk. the company we bought it from went bust 5 years ago we have the vin number and a receipt thats about it we never got the deed

Chriso, This Forum is aimed at the modern Chevrolet owner and is not a 'Classic Owners' Forum.
There are plenty of American Classic Forums in the UK which you can find on the Internet.
That aside, you dont mention what approaches you have made (if any) to DVLA. It is their role to administer vehicle registrations in the UK.
The DVLA website has an extensive and helpful knowledge base including 'how to Register Old Vehicles'.
I would suggest that as DVLA are the controlling Authority on Vehicle Registrations that it would make sense for you to approach the DVLA and discuss your circumstances with them.
