When cruising on the motorway around 70mph the car stutters/jerks quite a bit as if the engine is about to cut out. I have just bought the car and dont know of its past history, althoughI have checked and its had all the recalls done. Its a 2007 diesel with 30000 on the clock.

Has anyone else had/got this problem? Can it be fixed?

I've not had anything like that under those conditions- can feel a bit like that at low revs when the turbo is off boost, but mine pulls like a train at that sort of speed. Any dash lights on or similar or does the fuel system need a clean out. You might want to get the fuel filter checked for water too.

Get your dealer to check egr valve and that dpf is working properly. Was it properly serviced before you bought it? check the air filter element, 4 philips screws undo completely and lift off cover, lift out filter, check if clean replacement about £12+ vat from chevrolet dealer.
