It won't match the Audi, but the pedals are straight ahead of the drivers seat, which is a reasonable trade off! I love my captiva- it kept me going in the depths of the arctic winter last year and has great aircon for the summer. It's reasonably economical to run and provided you don't treat it like a sports car, which it definately isn't, I'm sure you'll have plenty of happy miles with it.
