You'd stand a better chance of a reply if you stated the year of your car and which treansmiision is fitted.

Shayne, you can now add this data to your Signature/Footer as per guidance in the link I provided in discussion#3. You can also complete your World location.

Why do you need to fill up transmission - have you had a leak or drained it down? If you are doing a 'service' of the ATF bear in mind there is a very specific sequence of doing this involving vehicle up on lifer with all wheels capable of turning and gear shifting during filling. If you dont have this capability take it to your Holden dealer and get them to do it.

Full discussion details already given on this forum which you can access and read using the Forum Search index.

thanks will jack all 4 wheels up

Not a good idea ! UNSAFE. This task should be done up on a safe scissor lift so you have room to stand under and have better vision of what you are doing. Follow the correct GM sequence.
We dont know whether this is routine maintenance (whats the mileage?), or whether you've had or got some gearbox difficulties?

Your Sign-Up and vehicle Footer info is still incomplete. Helpful to other readers if you complete this. Info was in my previous post (#3). Link repeated here :-
