Ian, We are not able to help either unless you inform us your Full vehicle details.

Refer to the Guidelines link I provided and the importance of Full vehicle info .

Thanks, looked at it but not the right exhaust. Maybe they gave me the wrong reference number.

What is the difference in the exhausts? As if it is the factory fitted exhaust it will be in one section while the replacement exhaust is in two sections.
Part codes I can find for the 1.2 exhaust are
95031937, 95031938, 95387902 & 95387903

Thanks, I will give these codes to the exhaust shop I am going to today and let you know if they can get it. The main dealer who used to sell Chevy cars says it is a non replaceable part.

Typical answer from a firm who really doesnt care any more and isnt interested in even trying to source the parts. You might well have more luck going to an exhaust specialist because they will have lists for all sorts of 'past vehicles' or know which parts they can use to create a replacement system.

Ian, you havent completed your 'Location' in your Sign-Up so we have no idea where in the UK you are. Knowing this often helps because other Forum Members often reply saying go to near you ... xyz they solved my problem.

Helpful tips are in this link well worth a read especially for Sign-Up and completing vehicle Signature footer info.

Finally got a guy who knew about exhausts and was willing to find one. He said that his suppliers told him the exhaust design for this car was not released to secondary manufacturers, so it has to be a Chevy exhaust. Waiting to hear from him.

Got the news that the only exhaust available was Chevy exhaust from USA for £500. Decided just to trade the car for a Toyota,

I realise the car has gone, but for completion, would you mind telling us what was wrong with the one on the car?

Metro, I think Ian was 'suckered'. A half decent exhaust specialist would have tailored what was required.
There are exhaust providers who simply 'bend tubing' and marry with the necessary muffler etc.
Maybe his decision was the quick and easiest way out.

Agreed. Behind the cat they are just tubes and boxes welded together. On certain cars, cats regularly get welded up, as do exhausts.
What a hopeless state we are in if folk Chuck away a £3000 car for the sake of a bit of steel tube.
