Hi we are trying to register a 1948 and 1954 Chevy trucks recently imported from Florida and have been asked for a Dating Letter to confirm vin/chassis number before we can get registered in the Isle of Man.
They advised us to speak to Chevyclub.co.uk but does not appear to exist?
Any Advice?
Thanks

Quick answer is this is not the Forum you want. This Chevrolet Forum is for modern day Chevrolets typically covering the past 20 years. Not Classics.
Your approach should have been to one of the several Classic American GM Owners Clubs.
That said, the answer you want is readily online if you use your Search engine. The following link covers Chevy Truck chassis/vin codes covering builds from 1947 to 1955. 1947 To 1955 Chevy Truck Serial Numbers

I hope this provides the info you need to look for. Good Luck
