Hi Guys,

Had my trax for a year now and very pleased with it.

I'm still worried about the service and repair issues but my head is in the sand about it, "don't want to know"

Anyway, I'm coming upto first service and my question is re: the DPF

When I first had the car the DFP would burn off lots of times but last six months I can't recall this happening.
Is this normal?

And, do they deal with this issue during the service?

I suspect that you are probably doing auto regens and simply not aware of it.
As for whether 'they deal with this issue during service' - there doesnt seem to be an issue?
Service doesnt include any intervention by dealer to DPF (check your service schedule list).
Your dealer/service agent would only be involved on DPF if you required a forced regeneration for other reasons.

Just make sure they do everything listed on the service - they make extra £ by 'forgetting' to do certain things. Make sure service log book has the grade and type of oil clearly stated.
