Hi all newbie here in more than one way bought the two wheel drive version of the captiva well i do live in the south of england. This weekend just gone rotated the wheels front to back as you do now and again only to find another problem, my drive shaft support bearing has given up on me. Does anybody know if they can be replaced serperatly or as ive been told you buy as a complete set.

Has the antara the same power plant then, All the spares provider's my mate has spoken too have trouble identifing the car let alone the part.

Thanks Oldroverboy just been told as its just the bearing hole unit has to go away 3-4 days to have new bearing press fitted £240 + vat thats with SMF

Just to possibly help others,

What year/model is yours and what trim?

Who is doing the work, (the place that is inserting the bearing?)

Is that price including removal and refitting to the car?
