Hi all, newbie Cyproit Mick here....
I have a Chevrolet Captiva LS (2.0 l, 7-door), threeand a half years old, that is giving me no end of trouble! The latest problem relates to a faulty ECU that is not receivingcorrect information from the two exhaust gas temperatures, leading to the engine warning light showing continuously on the dashboard. Sensors themselves were replaced in Sep 2012, and recent diagnostic test at an approve dealership confirmedthat the sensors themselves were working OK, but that there was a problem with the ECU. I am very reluctant to continue spending significant sums of money on this car, with the dealership quoting me £1500 for fullreplacement of the ECU. Does anyone know of where I couldn get the ECU repaired instead? Cheers, Cypriot Mick
