Hi All,
Have just towed with the Cap for the first time. It tows quite well with no handling problems that I have yet found.

What I have found is that when reversing the rear sensors are generating an alarm due to the proximity of the caravan. Should it do this? My previous car (Vectra) detected the presence of the caravan (presumably by the electric plugs being in their sockets) and inhibited the reversing alarm.

Anyone with/without the same problem?

Cheers all

I have just towed my new twin axle caravan home from the dealer, obviously it was quite light as it only had the gas bottles and battery in it. The Captiva had no problems even in 5th gear. I would strongly recommend it as a tow car.
