I have 57 plate captiva diesel LTX approx 65,00 miles and I have recently noticed a "clunking" sound when driving moderately andwhen going over bumps, sound like a metal to metalknock or thudand can sometimesfeel it affecting steering. Im not sure if this could be a C.V Joint, drive shaft, roll bar or power sterring related, i have had a look under the front of thevehicle and checked for anything loose or knocking while jacked up, but nothing obvious.

Has anyone out there had a similar issue or can suggest what the problem is

Regards

Yep, I would say the drop links are the most likely culprit. Had the same with mine, but had to change the rear drop links too toeradicatethe knock.
