So far had been losing coolant at a fast rate, popped the bonnet just after stopping driving this morning and have I think identified the issue, coolant spurting out a pipe, am I right thinking this is the radiator pipe? Is it a generic pipe that any garage can source without having to take it to Vauxhall?

I bet it has been chafing on the sharp cut end of the cable tie just under the split. I'd be off to the motor factors for a jointing sleeve and a couple of jubilee clips. But before that i would see if a bit of 15mm copper would fit.

Not sure if you got this fixed yet but i had the same problem earlier in the summer and managed to put a plaster on it for a year or so which eventually failed. Bought this from Autodoc: https://www.autodoc.co.uk/metzger/16618671. Quick easy repair.
