Peeps, finally got round to doing the cam belt (at 60k somewhat overdue). I also had the water pump ready to change out, however didn't do my research well enough as the cam pulley needs to be removed so that a hidden bolt on the water pump can be accessed. This required the use of an immobilizer tool which I didn't have. I have now purchased one from ebay that looks up to the job, but delivery meant I had to reassemble before pump was changed. Did check pump bearing for play and all felt solid, but missed out on doing the preventative maintenance that Jasta recommended. So thought I would highlight the tools need in case anyone else was thinking of doing the same.
