Im new to spark ownership. Bought a silver 1.0 LT on a 10 plate with glossy black trim inside.

Do Love the overall looks, quite an aggresive wee face its got

Motorbike style instument cluster

Really cheap road tax,

Purchase price.

Dont love like the exceptionally slow acceleration,

Lack of bolstering on the seat,

Inability to dim light on instrument cluster at night,

Fuel consumption is WAY short of the claimed 55mpg.(i'm an experienced driver, and cant get over 40mpg)

Bland steelwheels,

Lack of acceleration.

Its over a year old now and has almost 5k on the clock. I think the issue is the gearing. Its not a fuault, just a design err, feature... For example if i catch a roundabout and haven't rev matched during a downchange its really slow to sync and by then i'm bogged down despite the downchange. I truly wish i'd got the 1.2 now. I thought the few bhp wouldn't matter much since i was last driving a 209 bhp 3.0 V6 diesel so expected the spark to feel ridiculously slow anyway. The wifes motor is a 2.0 with 150bhp so most things i drive feel slow, but this is more than i expected. Will give it a couple of years and then see how finances look...
