Hi- got a 59 plate captiva. The rear parcel shelf has become "unglued" half way across it's width. The plastic type fabrics sort of "saggy" and I cannot make the repair. It's stuck open.
Not sure what to do- 1)- Return to the dealer, see if they can fix it?
2) Find a car upholsterer?
3) Buy another one from a scrap yard.
4) Have a major go at it myself- taking the cross bar apart, and then trying to glue it down, where it's become unstuck.
Any help, advice and guidance would be good.

I suppose it all depends if the car is under warranty - if it is then no problem, as long as you've not broken it by doing something other than you should have done then get it sorted under the warranty conditions.
If it's out of warranty or you broke it by using it as a shelf (it's just a cover and not designed to carry weight) then just buy a new one, or do without it.

Hope this helps.
