Hi,
My Cruze Lt ‘09 radio has stopped working and I was considering replacing it with a second hand version of the same one from eBay. I read somewhere that you have to replace not just the radio unit but also the screen as well as they’re linked together. Is that true and has anyone done this before?

I also looked at fully replacing it with a completely new touchscreen unit which I’ve seen a few of online but they all seem to come from China so I’m wary of how well these work. Any recommendations on any good ones?

Thanks,
Dave.

Dave, This Chevrolet Forum is littered with posts about replacing radios/Information Units/SatNavs across Cruze, Captiva, Orlando etc and there are numerous uncertainties. You can use the Forum Back Index Search Function which covers about 10 years of previous discussions. It may be worth you also visiting a automotive audio specialist near where ever you are to obtain their views. I cant immediately find existing discussion on your particular variant. If I do I'll post it later.

I've noticed you didnt complete your World location although the Forum System believes UK (?) . Help on how to use the Search function, Sign-Up and full vehicle details can be read on the following link which will assist you. Helpful Guidance Using the Forum
