Hello, I wonder if you can help. I was looking at buying a chevrolet trax but was wondering about getting parts as they will no longer be selling them here. I know that they will still have parts for sale but maybe in a few years they may not be as easy to get. As the trax and the mokka are essentially the same car can you use vauxhall parts on a chevrolet trax?
I don't want to be stuck with a car that can't be fixed by local garages or takes weeks to ship over parts.

Thanks

Jemma, Chevrolet gave an undertaking when withdrawing from UK market to make parts available for ten years. You can find this statement on the web.
As for interchange of parts probably possible. However no one can guarantee parts off the shelf.
If that is a priority then buy a Ford!
In response to Chevvychase's observation, the Chevrolet parts are normally prefixed 96......
Hope this helps your decision.
