Hi all, I'm hoping someone can steer me in the right direction.
I have a Chevy Matiz, 2005, about 32000miles. For the past few days we've noticed it's a bit noisy coming from the exhaust. It's strange, the car runs perfectly but noisy. If I sit stationaryand rev the engine, we don't get the same noise.... it's only when the car is moving.
I've had it up on ramps, checked the exhaust and all seems fine. Changed the spark plugs (as I wondered if it wasn't firing properly), but no difference.
There seems to bit a bit too much moisture (definately water not petrol) spitting from the exhaust.
Any ideas what the problem could be and any simple checks I can do to try and pinpoint the problem?
Many thanks
Paul
