Hi,
I am owner of a 2014 Captiva 7 LTZ and am in the process of replacing the factory display screen. This is the screen that shows the reverse camera, SD card media player, aircon information etc.

I have bought an android based display that I have connected to the car and everything is working except for the reverse camera feed and the air con information is not being displayed on the new screen.

I have ascertained that a 16pin plug feeds the camera and aircon info to the screen. Does anyone have any pin out information of this 16pin plug? I can then go back to the manufacturer of the new screen to get the harness cable updated.
Appreciated any help that can be provided!

There are a bewildering number of posts covering the topic of swapping the 'old' unit for a different unit. I'm sure there was a previous discussion on this very issue - the problem is it was buried within one of the many general discussions on swapping. You could try using the Forum Back Index Advanced Search function but it may take lots of patience to search. I vaguely believe it involved using an adaptor cable link. It is possible a fellow member may have the info you require. Hopefully they will read this.

Oscar, This particular post/topic is almost three years old and no progress was posted in this link. You can try the Advanced Search function.

May I encourage you to complete your Sign-Up details. Your World location is blank (the system believes possibly Italy ?) and your vehicle details are completely blank so we dont know your year/variant etc.
The following link has useful information on using this Forum.

Hi @oscar96 , here are the schematics, port description, camera connection etc. The numbers in the schematic are for the connector that you are asking. X4, X3 etc are dedicated connectors for connection to radio, antennas, etc. You can identify the pinout based on the color code. If you have problems with translation (google can help here), I will update the schematic with the english names.
